International Missing Children`s Day Event May 24th-25th 2009
The four Committee members of Foreversearching, Joe Chisholm (Father of missing Sigourney Chisholm) and Oliver Chapman gathered together at the Travelodge in Leicester on May 23rd. We then proceeded to walk around Leicester town tying posters to lamp posts, trees, railings, anywhere where they might be seen as we travelled on our March For The Missing, which was being held on Sunday 24th May.

Sunday May 24th dawned bright and clear and the sun shone down on us. We met at the cenotaph in Leicester`s Victoria Park. Several parents of the missing had also made the journey to join us in this event.
We proceeded to Leicester Town Hall, where we were greeted by the Lord Mayor of Leicester. Joe Chisholm and the Grandfather of missing Luke Durbin read out some of the names of the missing. The balloons were then released into the sky.

Parental Abduction Awareness
We are seeing more and more cases coming in with regards to Parental Abduction, the familiar story we hear from the left behind parents of these children is that there is a strong complacency shown by both Law Enforcement and Government Representatives. We have put together a team who are working on sourcing individual addresses for Senate Representatives and Congress members through the USA, Canada, UK and Australia whom we will correspond with in the first part of this campaign.
