Trenton Duckett's StoryTrenton Duckett

Trenton was 2 years old when he was reported missing by his mother, Melinda Duckett.  He was last seen with his mother after they left her grandparents home in Lady Lake, Florida at approximately 4:15pm on Saturday 26th August 2006.

After stopping off to get gas at approximately 5:30pm in Leesburg the same evening, Melinda and Trenton's whereabouts are unknown until the following day Sunday August 27th at approximately 4:00pm at her apartment complex when Melinda was seen alone by an acquaintance.

Melinda told police she drove around with Trenton visiting family and friends on Sunday. She was driving a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse, although investigators are unable to verify this.
The investigators are also still trying to piece together the timeline for Melinda from 5:30pm Saturday August 26th to approximately 8:15am Sunday 27th August.

The investigation was hindered when tragically Melinda took her own life at the home of her grandparents on Sept. 8th, less than two weeks after Trenton was reported missing.
If anyone has any information regarding the disappearance of Trenton please call.

The Leesburg police department on+ 1-352-787-2121+ 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
